नलकूपों को मिलेगी एक घंटा ज्यादा बिजली

दक्षिण हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम ने नलकूपों को दी जाने वाली बिजली आपूर्ति में एक घंटे की वृद्धि की है। अन्य उपभोक्ताओं की दी जाने वाली बिजली आपूर्ति के समय में बदलाव किया है। समय तय करते समय गंावों में दोपहर के समय भी तीन घंटे लोगों की सुविधा के लिए बिजली आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित की है।निगम के प्रवक्ता ने जारी बयान में बताया कि जिन ग्रामीण घरेलू क्षेत्रों में घरेलू और कृषि लोड अलग-अलग हो चुका है। वहां ग्रुप एक को आपरेशन सर्कल नारनौल और भिवानी में रात 10.00 बजे से सुबह 4.00 बजे तक व सायं 5.30 बजे से 6.30 बजे तक और हिसार व सिरसा सर्कल में रात 10.30 बजे से सुबह 4.30 बजे तक तथा सायं 6.30 बजे से 7.30 बजे तक बिजली आपूर्ति दी जाएगी।नलकूपों को ग्रुप दो में फरीदाबाद, भिवानी और सिरसा सर्कल में सुबह 4.30 बजे से 5.30 बजे तक व दोपहर 11.30 बजे से सायं 5.30 बजे तक बिजली की आपूर्ति की जाएगी। ग्रुप दो को गुडग़ंव, नारनौल और हिसार सर्कलों में सुबह 5.30 बजे से 11.30 बजे तक व सायं 6.30 बजे से 7.30 बजे तक बिजली दी जाएगी।हिसार व सिरसा सर्कल को बिजली आपूर्ति के लिए तीन ग्रुपों में बांटा गया है। हिसार में ग्रुप तीन को 5.30 बजे से 11.30 बजे तक व सायं 5.30 बजे से 6.30 बजे तक बिजली की आपूर्ति की जाएगी। सिरसा सर्कल में ग्रुप तीन को सुबह 4.30 बजे से 5.30 बजे तक तथा दोपहर 11.30 बजे से सायं 5.30 बजे तक बिजली दी जाएगी।जहां घरेलू और कृषि लोड अलग-अलग नहीं किया गया है वहां नारनौल व भिवनी सर्कलों में ग्रुप एक को रात 10.00 बजे से सुबह 4.00 बजे तक सायं 5.30 बजे से 6.30 बजे तक तीन फेज तथा सायं 7.00 बजे से रात 11.00 बजे तक घरेलू उपयोग की बिजली दी जाएगी। हिसार सर्कल में ग्रुप एक को रात 10.30 बजे से सुबह 4.30 तथा सायं 6.30 बजे से 7.30 बजे तक तीन फे ज की तथा सायं 7.30 बजे से रात 11.00 बजे तक घरेलू उपयोग की बिजली दी जाएगी। सिरसा सर्कल में ग्रुप एक को रात 10.30 बजे से सुबह 4.30 बजे तथा सायं 5.30 बजे से 6.30 बजे तक तीन फे ज की तथा रात 7.00 बजे से 11.00 बजे तक घरेलू उपयोग के लिए बिजली दी जाएगी। फरीदाबाद, भिवानी व हिसार सर्कलों में ग्रुप दो तथा सिरसा सर्कल में ग्रुप तीन को सुबह 4.30 बजे से 5.30 बजे व दिन में 11.30 बजे से बाद दोपहर 5.30 बजे तक तीन फेज की और सायं 7.00 बजे से 11.00 बजे तक घरेलू उपयोग की बिजली दी जाएगी। गुडग़ंाव, नारनौल व सिरसा सर्कलों के ग्रुप दो हिसार सर्कल के ग्रुप तीन को सुबह 5.30 से दोपहर 11.30 बजे तक व सायं 5.30 बजे से 6.30 बजे तक तीन फे ज की तथा सायं 7.30 बजे से 11.00 बजे तक दो फे ज की बिजली की आपूर्ति दी जाएगी। गंावों में घरेलू फीडरों को ग्रुप एक में नारनौल, फ रीदाबाद और हिसार सर्कल में सुबह 4.00 बजे से 6.00 बजे दिन में 10.00 बजे से 1.00 बजे रात को 7.00 बजे से 12.00 बजे तक बिजली आपूर्ति दी जाएगी। आपरेशन सर्कल भिवानी, गुडग़ांव, सिरसा में ग्रुप एक को सुबह 5.00 बजे से 7.00 बजे दोपहर 10.00 बजे से 1.00 बजे और रात 7.00 बजे से 12.00 बजे तक बिजली दी जाएगी। नारनौल, फ रीदाबाद व हिसार सर्कल के ग्रुप दो को सुबह 6.00 बजे से 8.00 बजे दोपहर 1.00 बजे से 4.00 बजे और रात को 7.00 बजे से 12.00 बजे तक बिजली दी जाएगी, जबकि भिवानी गुडग़ंाव और सिरसा सर्कलों के ग्रुप दो को सुबह 7.00 बजे से 9.00 बजे तक दोपहर 1.00 बजे से 4.00 बजे तक रात 7.00 बजे से 12.00 बजे तक बिजली की आपूर्ति की जाएगी। घरेलू फ डरों को इस पूरे समय के लिए तीन फे ज की बिजली दी जाएगी। उद्योगों को सायं 7.00 बजे से रात 12.00 तक बंद रखा जाएगा। भिवानी सर्कल, नारनौल, ए-2 पलवल और सिरसा क्षेत्रों में सुबह 7.00 बजे से 8.00 बजे, 10.00 बजे से 11.00 बजे दोपहर 1.00 बजे से 2.00 बजे सांय 8.00 बजे से 9.00 बजे तक एक-एक घंटे की कटौती के चार समय निर्धारित किए गए हैं। हिसार और गुडग़ांव जोन-2 क्षेत्रों में सुबह 8.00 बजे से 9.00 बजे दोपहर 11.00 बजे से 12.00 बजे व 2.00 बजे से 3.00 बजे तथा रात 9.00 बजे से 10.00 बजे तक एक-एक घंटे के चार समय निर्धारित किए गए हैं।

Ist Unit of Khedar Plant will start in December

हिसार : The construction of prestigious 1200 MW (2x600 MW) Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power Plant, Khedar in district Hisar was reviewed by Sh. Ashok Lavasa, Financial Commissioner & Principal Secretary (Power) and Chairman, HPGCL at project site on 28 January. Overall 60 percent work has been completed. The first unit of this Mega Project will be commissioned before Dec. this year and second before March, 2010. The synchronization of first unit is being planned during Sept.
Sh. Ashok Lavasa further informed that next major milestone of Boiler Hydraulic Test of Unit-1 is expected to be achieved ahead of scheduled date of 28 January. Earlier the major milestone of Boiler Drum Lifting of Unit-2 was achieved 22 days ahead of scheduled date of 28.11.2008. An expenditure of Rs.1439.05 crore has so far been incurred on this project against total Engineering, Procurement and Construction cost of Rs.3775.43 crore.
He further added that major construction activities like Boiler and Turbine erection, construction of Cooling Towers, Chimney and 400 KV Switchyard are going on as per schedule or ahead of schedule. The Cooling Towers of the project are tallest in the country with a height of 173 meters, out of which casting of more than 168 meter has already been completed in case of Unit-1 and 82 meter in case of Unit-2. The height of the Chimney of this project is 275 meters and is the tallest structure of the project, the Chimney has already achieved a height of 227 meters.
During the review, Mr. Lavasa implored the officers of the Irrigation Department and the Public Works (B&R) Department to expedite the construction of the water inlet channel before the middle of May 2009, to enable the plant authorities to complete the tests for commissioning of the plant. He also exhorted the Haryana State Road & Bridges Corporation to expedite the construction of the barracks meant for the Central Industrial Security Force and the residential accommodation for the employees.
Regarding implementation of the project, he informed that about 40 reputed contractors and more than 5000 workers are working round the clock to meet the challenging schedule of the project. Highest level of environmental health and safety standards are being maintained at the project as the man-power is likely to peak to around 8000 during the final stages of construction.
The State is further targeting a best effort schedule of 34 and 36 months for early availability of power from these units. This is the first project in Northern region to be awarded Mega Project status with attached benefits under the Mega Project policy of Government of India.
A colony for operation and maintenance staff having 417 residences and other non-residential buildings is under construction and will be ready before commissioning of the plant.
About 19 Km. Raw Water Intake Channel for supply of 75 cusecs water to the plant is under construction and the work shall be completed by May, 2009.
About 2 Km. long Railway line from Barwala Railway Station to plant is being constructed for transportation of around 6 to 7 coal rakes daily to the plant. The Railway line has been located to avoid second crossing of Barwala-Agroha road.
Around 14 lakh Tonne of Dry Fly Ash per year is expected to be available from this plant and is proposed to be allotted to prospective users on long term basis. This will reduce the requirement of land for disposal of fly ash in the wet pond.

Over 2627 of the theft cases were detected duringthe month of October, 2008.He said that the officials of DHBVN, including Operation andVigilance Wings, checked/raided 69 thousand meters in total to detectthe thefts. About 50 per cent of amount of penalty has already beenpaid by the consumers while, in about 4100 cases, the DHBVN officialshave reported the matter to the Police for lodging FIR.Meanwhile, DHBVN has offered an attractive scheme for settlement oftheft cases pending in various courts, through Mega Lok Adalat, bypaying 50 per cent of the penalty. Surcharge levied on the arrears insuch cases will be waived off.The Nigam has introduced this one time "Settlement Scheme" fordisputes pending in courts, in view of ensuing Mega Lok Adalatsscheduled to be held on December 20 & 21, 2008 at all the districthead quarters of Haryana. He said that the scheme would be available to all categories ofconsumers including the theft of electricity cases and would cover alldisputes with consumers pending in courts including DCDRF, StateCommission or in arbitration, etc. as on October 31, 2008. All such disputes where penalties have been levied can be settledthrough the said Mega Lok Adalats provided the consumers or theapplicants pay 50 per cent of the amount initially assessed, withoutany surcharge.

139 Carore for HVDS

Hisar... The Government of India has sanctioned an ambitious plan of Rs. 139.24 crores of the Dalshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) to create high voltage distribution system (HVDS) or armoured/aerial bunched cable based distribution system (ABCDS) in 406 villages under the Operation Divisions, Narnaul and Dharuhera in districts Mahendragarh and Rewari falling under the National Capital Region (NCR).It was disclosed by Mr. Anurag Agarwal in a meeting of senior officers of the DHBVN held here last evening to review progress of development works of the Nigam.He said that the scheme, to be completed in two years period, would be funded by the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) under the National Capital Region Scheme taken up by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. This programme of the Central Government envisages funding of activities related to up gradation of power distribution system, creating high voltage distribution system, relocation of meters, etc. in villages in NCR Zone. These areas of district Mahendragarh and Rewari, under Operation Circle Natnaul of the DHBVN, are part of NCR.Under this important scheme, HVDS or ABCD system would be created would be created in 406 villages in the districts. HVDS will be created in the villages having more than 300 houses while in the villages having lesser number of houses, ABCD system will be created for distribution of electricity.Under this system of international standard, small capacity (25 KVA) transformers would be used in larger number and insulated conductor would be used for safety. With the creation of HVDS system people would get qualitative power supply at better voltage level with minimum interruptions. Aggregate transmission and commercial (AT&C) losses, which are presently 40 per cent on these feeders, would reduce considerably with the creation of the new system. Ring mains of 11 KV level will be created under HVDS system and a larger number of 25 KVA transformers will be installed from where, the consumers will get power supply through independent armoured cables.Mr. Agarwal said that the DHBVN would set up additional 3073 transformers, to the existing network of 15,000 transformers in this area of Narnaul Circle, under this plan. The Nigam would replace 673 kilometre long low tension (LT) lines with high tension (HT) lines and 1608 kilometre long necked LT conductor with aerial bunched /armoured cable. All the meters in the areas would be shifted from the premises of consumers to out side on poles.

130 Carore for Power devolpment

Hisar...The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) and the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPN) have completed the power development works of Rs. 130 crore on power development in Faridabad town during last over three years, while works of hundreds of crores are in progress. The DHBVN spent over Rs. 119 crore to strengthen power distribution system and improve service in Faridabad town. It added 2371 distribution transformers and augmented capacity of 505 existing transformers increasing the transformation capacity by 202699 KVA at a cost of Rs. 27.79 crore. The total number of transformers in Faridabad has increased to 2876. The Nigam erected new high tension and low-tension distribution lines of a length of 1104 kilometers increasing the total network of distribution lines to 3597 kilometers at a cost of Rs. 17 crore. As many as 21 overloaded feeders of 11 KV level were bifurcated into feeders of proper load and length, conductor of 10 old feeders was replaced with aerial bunched cable measuring 45 kilometers, old conductor measuring 506 kilometers was replaced with new conductor of higher capacity and 15 new 11 KV feeders were erected to raise total number of feeders in the town to 302. Since March 2005, the HVPN has commissioned five new substations and augmented capacity of existing nine substations at a cost of Rs. 11.83 crores to strengthen power transmission system in Faridabad. The new substations include 66 KV substation Escort-I in the town.With the augmentation of power transmission and distribution system and increased availability of power, the DHBVN could increase power supply by 33.50 percent during last over three years.To improve services to consumers, the DHBVN Established a Bijli Suvidha Kendra, which is giving call, center like service to consumers to get registered their power supply related complaints. Vehicles were provided to complaint staff and the staff started attending complaints during night hours also. In Faridabad town, six customers care Centres were started to give single window service to customers for their different works. Bill payment service was improved by providing additional facilities of Easy Bill, TSI M/C, Banks, Online, etc. The Nigam engaged ex-servicemen for meter reading and billing service and system of spot billing was also introduced in the town.
